Usually the diamond stud rough will be cut into whichever shape that requires the least amount of sacrifice. Marquise and oval shapes should have a length thats exactly twice the size of the width. If they are too narrow or too wide, the stone will loose light and appear too dark.
For your protection and peace of mind, all our diamond are laser inscribed with the certificate number on the girdle of the diamonds.
When looking at the general appearance of fancy loose diamonds, make sure that the stone is appealing to your eye and that it is bilaterally symmetrical.
